Bodiam

St Giles: the service at St Giles on March 18's holy Communion at 11:15 AM. for enquiries regarding baptisms, weddings or funerals phone the Priest-in-Charge, Christopher, on (01580) 830925 but not on a Tuesday.

Snowfall: the snow falling on Bodiam was not as significant as some parts of the county. The gritting lorries came out, the 349 bus came from Hastings to Hawkhurst and was on time at Bodiam. The Castle Inn was open with great food, the paperboys did their best but the postman could not get round. Bodiam Church of England Primary School was not open. The parish council had a meeting and after the meeting went into the snow. I’m sure everyone made it home, I’ve not had any phone calls.

Wish Valley Surgery: in the booklet called information for patients from the Wish Valley Surgery it explains extended opening hours on a Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM for pre-booked appointments only. It will not be possible to access a full range of services during the extended hour.
