Major award for Worthing firm
A WORTHING-based company scooped a prestigious national award which was helped significantly by the support and client referrals given by colleagues at its local business networking group.
Emerald Finance, based in central Worthing, which provides professional financial advice to individuals and businesses, won the “Best Financial Adviser with fewer than ten employees” Award at the Equity Release Awards. With approximately 1,000 Financial Firms in the UK offering equity release advice, and with only approximately 20 companies having more than 10 employees, this award was achieved through an assessment of client feedback, the quality of advice and high levels of customer service.
Emerald Finance MD, Matt Sutton, is an active member of BNI (Business Network International) – the UK and the world’s largest business networking organisation, the Worthing branch of which meets weekly where its members pass business referrals to each other. Many nominations came from members of the group who have used Emerald’s services and acted as testimony to the integrity and high levels of service provided by the company.
Matt Sutton commented: “Having a group of people who can stand testimony to the credibility of a company is invaluable. In our case, many of our fellow BNI members are clients or have referred business to us, and know what we’re like to deal with. My advice to other SMEs is to invest in building relationships with local business networks. We are delighted our hard work has been recognised but our colleague support at BNI has given us a business edge that helped us achieve this award.”
The Equity Release Awards recognised the excellence and achievements of providers, financial advisers and supporting firms across the equity release sector.
