Sussex Police said officers and paramedics were called to a property in Connaught Road about 6.45pm on Sunday (December 18) due to concerns for the welfare of a woman who was found dead at the scene. She has been identified as 68-year-old Sabrina Cooper from Eastbourne. A man has been charged with murder. Tony King, 59, of Cornfield Terrace in Eastbourne, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court today (December 21).
